The human brain has a system that can carry out many tasks at the same time. For example, because of the perfect structure of the brain, a person, while driving a car, can both adjust his cassette player and turn the steering wheel easily. Although he does several different things at the same time, he does not run into other cars or passengers. In addition, he can operate the accelerator pedal with his foot. He can understand what is said as he listens to the radio. He can continue to speak from the point where he left off. And, most importantly, he can direct all of these things in a perfect way, at the same time. In short, by means of the extraordinary capacity of the human brain, man can handle many things at the same time. What provides this harmony are the connections of the nerve cells in the brain.

Millions, even billions, of stimuli coming to the brain from the outside world are analyzed in the brain in harmony, then are evaluated and the necessary responses are given to each one. The operation of this complicated system continues to function all through one's life without any interruption. Thus, we see, hear, feel and continue our lives.

One of the most important elements constituting this perfect system in the brain is that of the nerve cells, which number approximately 10 billion. The nerve cells of the brain, unlike other cells, transmit and process information through creating and conducting small electrical currents.

The force that makes connections among cells and, therefore, harmony in the brain is found in the special structure of nerve cells. About 10 billion cells in the brain have about 120 trillion connections. And these 120 trillion connections are in just the right places. If any one of these connections was in the wrong place, the outcome would be very serious. In fact, it would be impossible for people to carry out their vital functions. Yet, such a thing does not happen and human beings, except for exceptional illnesses, lead a life which comes very naturally to them while, in reality, there are trillions of miraculous processes taking place behind the scenes.

This structure working interdependently in the brain is also, like all the other systems in the human body, one that has a perfect design at every stage. The reason for the brain's performing its millions of functions without any mistake or disorder is the fact that God, the Owner of endless wisdom, has created it along with all its features.

Reuters, one of the world’s largest news agencies, has been regularly following developments regarding Atlas of Creation. In a report dated 9 May, 2008, it said this about the Atlas:

… Istanbul-based Oktar, who writes under the pen name Harun Yahya, has created waves in the past few years by sending out thousands of … texts advocating Islamic creationism to schools in several European countries. … He has publicly denounced Darwinism and Freemasonry in high-profile attacks. … Oktar's publishing house has published dozens of books that have been distributed in more than 150 countries and been translated into more than 50 languages.

Hollywood scores top marks in its faith report

In his latest book, about belief among Hollywood actors, the American author Ray Comfort considers famous stars’ attachment to spiritual values. Reports under headlines such as “I believe in God,” “I pray every night,” “Not a day goes by without my giving thanks to God,” “God protect you and our country” and “Thanks be to God,” have frequently appeared in the press in recent years. This report, carried in the Turkish daily Sabah, concerned the belief in God of such artists as  Whitney Houston, Jim Carrey, Halle Berry, Ben Affleck, Madonna, Denzel Washington and Britney Spears.

Halle Berry: “I know there is God, God is with me and protects me at all times. I always … pray. My powerful faith allows me to keep my feet more firmly on the ground.”

Whitney Houston: “I was raised to be attached to my religious beliefs, and I still am. I believe In God.”

Denzel Washington: “I have never doubted the existence of God. I have felt God’s hand on me all through my life. I have an endless belief in God and the Bible. Faith gives me strength.”

AN INTERVIEW WITH MR. ADNAN OKTAR BY ART TV (GERMANY) (March, 2008)

In an interview by ART TV (Germany) with Mr.Adnan Oktar, he is asked about how it feels to dedicate one’s self to a specific cause, and he replies:

The idea of evolution, which materialists  ever since Ancient Greece have employed to account for the origin of life, entered the world of science in the 19th century with Charles Darwin’s book On the Origin of Species. Those who supported the materialist philosophy, which underwent an enormous rise during the 19th century, adopted the theory of evolution as an answer to the question of how life came into being, but did not question the theory’s scientific foundations. The proponents of materialist ideologies imposed the theory of evolution on entire systems of education and popular culture for 150 years, despite possessing no evidence for it, and employing only methods of propaganda. From the second half of the 20th century onward, however, the privileged position that the theory of evolution had enjoyed among the scientific community became increasingly problematic. Observations and experiments in a wide range of scientific disciplines, from paleontology to biology and from anatomy to genetics, began to produce findings that argued against the theory. In the face of these new scientific findings, evolutionists suddenly found themselves and their theory on the defensive. One of the main objections to Darwin’s theory of evolution indeed, concerns the fossil record. The transitional forms that evolutionists expected to find in the fossil record— and which might be regarded as proof that species evolved from one another—have not been found. Fossils emerge suddenly and with all their particular features fully present, and the fossil record demonstrates that no species experienced any process of gradual change leading to its eventual disappearance. The absence of transitional forms from the fossil record is by itself sufficient to undermine the whole theory of evolution. Charles Darwin, the founder of the theory, actually admitted the truth of this! After inquiring into the absence of such forms, he wrote that “this, perhaps is the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory.” And today, even among evolutionists, there is a serious dispute over how to interpret the fossil record. Fossils, one important source of scientific evidence regarding natural history, clearly refute the theory of evolution and show that life on Earth appeared suddenly, with no evolutionary process behind it—in other words that life forms were created.

7-Darwinists never realize that materialism cannot explain the entity that does the perceiving in the human mind, and cannot account for the superior “awareness” of man.

8-Darwinists never realize that the human brain, the most complex structure in the world and which they imagine to have been brought about by chance by unconscious atoms, presents us a perfectly clear and vivid world, and that this sublime mechanism cannot be replicated in any manner whatsoever.

9-Darwinists never realize that the brain they claim came into being by chance functions hundreds of times faster, and in a much more complex manner than the fastest computer, and that the brain’s functioning cannot be replicated electronically.

10-Darwinists never realize that the attributes that make human beings human, concepts such as human emotion, thought, feeling, love and belief, are not the result of activity of the neurons in the brain and that there can be no material explanation for these.
