Bigotry: The Dark Danger

National Center for Science Education (NCSE), 5 December 2011 – Creationism in the British Colleges

On its website on December 5th, 2011, National Center for Science Education, a non-profit organisation struggling to keep the theory of evolution in the curriculum, quoted atheist geneticist Steve Jones’ article which appeared in Daily Telegraph on December 3rd. In this article Jones reflected on his experience in teaching university students who reject evolution and said, “We have number of Islamic students, almost all dedicated, hard-working and able. Some, unfortunately, refuse to accept Darwin’s theory on faith grounds.”

In his article Steve Jones referred to Harun Yahya’s works on Creationism and stated that under the influence of these works the students in question did not participate in classes teaching evolution.
