Our Prophet (saas) foretold more than 600 portents of the coming of the Mahdi. These portents have all come true since Hijri 1400, or 1979. The fact the hadiths have come about proves that they are true.

This is the first time in 1,400 years that hundreds of portents have come about one after the other within a specific time frame; this is a miracle of our Prophet (saas) yet a great many Islamic scholars conceal these miracles and refuse to talk about them.

One of these deliberately concealed portents is the stopping of the waters of the Euphrates.

One of the portents of the coming Hazrat Mahdi (as) is the stopping of the Euphrates. (Al-Muttaqi Al-Hindi, Al-Burhan Fi Alamat Al-Mahdi, P. 39)

The waters of the Euphrates were stopped in Hijri 1400, The 210-meter high Keban Dam stopped the flow of the Euphrates, and thus another miracle of our Prophet (saas) came about, just as it had been foretold.

THE EUPHRATES WOULD SOON UNCOVER A MOUNTAIN OF GOLD and when the people would hear of it they would flock towards it but the people who would possess that (treasure) (would say): If we allow these persons to take out of it they would take away the whole of it. SO THEY WOULD FIGHT AND NINETY-NINE OUT OF ONE HUNDRED WOULD BE KILLED. (Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Hadith 6922)

The dam made it possible for electricity to be produced, increased the fertility of the land and made transport easier, thus making these lands as valuable as “gold.” The dam resembles a huge mountain made of concrete.

The reference to “ninety-nine people out of a hundred being killed” points to the acts of terror and anarchy that will break out in the region.

THE BED OF THE EUPHRATES DRIES UP FOR THE FIRST TIME

FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER: THE EUPHRATES WILL NOT FLOW FOR THREE DAYS

As we have seen, events are unfolding just as our Prophet (saas) foretold. It is most unfortunate that this miraculous state of affairs is being deliberately concealed by some Islamic scholars.

The concealment of the miracles of the End Times of our Prophet (saas) is itself one of the portents foretold by Rasulullah (saas). At the time of the coming of the Mahdi (pbuh), some scholars are refusing to discuss the Mahdi, the system of the dajjal, Jesus the Messiah and the portents of the End Time.

The hadith reveals that:

 “The Dajjal will not appear until the people become negligent in talking about him, and until the Imams abandon talking about him on the Minbars (in their Khutba).” (Narrated in Majma Al-Zawaid)

It is astonishing that 1,400 years ago the Companions would talk about the Mahdi five times a day and  that all the scholars would regularly speak of the system of the Mahdi until 1979; yet in the last 30 years, almost everyone has suddenly stopped talking about the system of the Mahdi.

This once again reveals that the Mahdi has come.

By God’s leave, the system of the Mahdi will come about, despite those who wish to conceal it.  Some scholars certainly need to reflect on how they will account for their concealment of evident miracles of Rasulullah (saas) in the hereafter.
