ADNAN OKTAR: A martyr is a martyr, you cannot classify it. If our stout-hearted soldiers lose their lives during drills, they are still martyrs. They could drown, something else could happen. It doesn’t change anything. If they lose their lives serving in the military, then they are martyrs. He goes there with the intent of serving Allah. A soldier; what’s the meaning of a soldier?  He goes out to defend our lands, and when he loses his life there, in other words, when he is taken to Allah’s sight, he is already a martyr. You cannot differentiate between the martyrs, you cannot classify them. There is nothing complicated about that.

Our 25 soldiers who died as martyrs during the explosion in the arsenals were treated as natural disaster martyrs. And because of that, their families are denied many of the rights that the families of martyrs who lost their lives to terrorism are given.

ADNAN OKTAR: But it is wrong. Let’s say they were working on  ammunition, the logistics. If our soldiers lose their lives serving Allah, no matter what they're doing , then they are martyrs.  It doesn’t matter how they lost their lives. For example, if he has a traffic accident and loses his life while trying to make it somewhere on time to save others, then he is a martyr. He doesn’t need to take a bullet. If Allah takes  his soul to another dimension while he is fighting this army of the anti-christ, the PKK, then he is a martyr. It doesn’t have to be a shrapnel, or a bullet. For example, on the battlefield he might trip and fall and have a concussion, may Allah forbid. Then he is a martyr , there doesn’t have to be a bullet.
