Adnan Oktar: Right since the economic crisis began I have been saying, “This will last for seven years and BECOME INCREASINGLY SEVERE." "Severe shortages will be seen across the world,” I said. “Precautions and preparations for this need to be taken right away,” I said. And I said that the only solution was Turkish-Islamic Union. I explicitly said that otherwise the world would be ruined. There will be shortages the like of which have never been seen before. The sole solution is Turkish-Islamic Union. But the whole thing can be reversed with the beauty, abundance and goodness of that union.  There is no need to wait right up to the end. Look, countries have begun to sink and go bankrupt now. I have never heard this before. I said that firms would go bust, but I have never heard of entire countries and national economies being bankrupted. We hear about major companies going bust every day.

Adnan Oktar: I said that, THE SYSTEM WOULD PERSIST LIKE THE FLOOD OF NOAH UNTIL 2014. THE ECONOMIC CRISIS WOULD GROW AND SWALLOW EVERYTHING UP, I SAID. But they said, “No, we will put it right in a year.” That is wrong, I said, it will last for seven years. And what I said has come true and is still coming true. AND IT WILL GROW AND CONTINUE TO BRING DOWN GREAT INDUSTRIES AND WELL-KNOWN, HIGHLY DEVELOPED COMPANIES AND THUS NATIONAL ECONOMIES. And let me also say that only Turkish-Islamic Union will save the world.

Adnan Oktar: THIS CRISIS BEGAN IN 2007, IT WILL SWALLOW EVERYTHING, THE WHOLE SYSTEM UP UNTIL 2014, AND THEY WILL BE MADE MOST WEAK AND WRETCHED AND THEY WILL BE FORCED TO THEIR KNEES AND SAY, ‘SAVE US.’ THEY WILL BE BROUGHT TO THAT POINT. And shortages will continue to grow as a result.  What the Qur’an speaks of is happening now. All the treasures of the Karun are sinking beneath the ground. Those treasures were very famous, as you know, and the Qur’an says they were very great indeed. It says he had the greatest economic power. These people also had huge economic power. But the famine described in Surah Yusuf has begun. And this time of famine will last for seven years, and they will be impoverished and forced to their knees. And then they will realize the value of Islam and the Qur’an and Turkish-Islamic Union will finally save them.
