Bigotry: The Dark Danger

Turkey will become a focal point

What He Said?What Happened?

Mardin Kanal 47-July 28, 2008

Adnan Oktar: Nothing will happen to Turkey. TURKEY WILL BE THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE MIDDLE EAST, THE BALKANS, THE ISLAMIC WORLD AND THE TURKIC WORLD. IT WILL BE THE LEADING COUNTRY. The Turkish-Islamic Union will be founded. Turkey will be the leader of the Turkish-Islamic Union.

Azerbaijan Gazete 525-August 27, 2008

Adnan Oktar: Turkey is truly a model country for the Islamic world.
It has an excellent understanding and excellent application of Turkish nationalism, has an excellent understanding and application of Islam and also has assimilated laicism in a very good way. All Islamic countries accept that our country best applies and lives by Islam. In other words, Turkey is scrupulous when it comes to cleanliness, true understanding, true application and true taqwa [fear and respect of Allah]. This may be the influence of Ottoman scholars as it is a legacy from Ottoman times. Allah gives rise to this excellence, for which reason I THINK THAT TURKEY IS THE COUNTRY BEST SUITED TO LEADERSHIP OF THE TURKISH-ISLAMIC WORLD.

Azerbaijan Halk Gazetesi- October 6, 2008

Adnan Oktar: If one were to ask the peoples of the Caucasus, under which country’s flag and leadership do you wish to unite? They will say they like Turkey very much. THEY WILL SAY THEY WANT the Turkish state to be their elder brother, their guide, to unite, as separate nation states, with each state free and independent in domestic terms, but WITH TURKEY AS ELDER BROTHER AND SPIRITUAL LEADER.

Mavi Karadeniz TV-December 31, 2008

Adnan Oktar: Yes, yes, TURKEY MUST ABSOLUTELY BE THE LEADER. Because it is a perfect country in terms of experience, and structure and moral structure, Turkey and the Turks.  Since it carries the ideal leadership qualities, Turkey must be the leader. Because all the Turkish states we talk to share the same opinion. We are in touch with all Islamic countries, too. They also hold the same view, and nobody is saying “no” now. All we need to do is make it a reality right away.

However, his outburst at Davos has raised Tayyip Erdoğan and Turkey to an entirely new place in the Middle East equation because  of his title of Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic.”  And the Middle East equation has thus changed. There are three main reasons for this: 1. Since it is Turkey that has acted and “changed tack” on the political floor. Turkey is no ordinary country. It is the main heir of a state that ruled an area comprising Israel and Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt for 400 years.   It is 100 years since these countries were under Ottoman rule. Some of them, Israel in particular, did not even have names 100 years ago, let alone their present-day borders. But such a Turkey remains and, what is more, as a member of NATO and participant member of the EU. Its attitude toward Israel over the rivers of blood in Gaza in 2009 has led to its sudden assumption of the “moral leadership” in the Arab and Muslim world. In doing this, Turkey is making use of “Western values” rather than any “religious identity,” AND THUS ASSUMING THE  “MORAL LEADERSHIP” WHETHER IT WISHES TO OR NOT, forcing the Middle East equation to change. (It may take some time for America and the players in the Middle East to grasp and digest this.)

From Munich to Baku: 360 degrees in foreign policy with Babacan...

IN THE NEAR FUTURE, TURKEY WILL BE THE “FOCAL POINT” IN INTERNATIONAL POLICY AND INTERNATIONAL BALANCES. We saw the clues to this at Munich. The Caucasian dimension of Turkish foreign policy may soon give birth to interesting developments... There is no need to chase anyone else. They are coming and will come to you.

Will Turkey assume a “central role” in the Middle East?

International balances, the point reached by the region and new dynamics PUSH TURKEY FORWARD AS A “CENTER OF GRAVITY”  “WITH A POSITIVE ROLE TO PLAY” IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
