Adnan Oktar: … THE RAPID FORMATION OF A TURKISH UNION, and there is no great need for a priority list. For example, Syria and Azerbaijan could unite with Turkey at the same time. At the same time, there is no need for any waiting list at all. THIS UNION MUST BE ESTABLISHED AT ONCE UNDER TURKISH LEADERSHIP. Once this has been established, nobody can and will have any more problems... That is perfectly logical. There is a European Union, a Mediterranean Union, the most disparate countries all come together, SO WHY SHOULD PEOPLE WITH THE SAME LINEAGE, THE SAME RELIGION, THE SAME TRADITIONS, THE SAME CUSTOMS AND THE SAME EVERYTHING not combine together? We are brothers in faith and lineage. There is nothing to wait for, we must join together at once. IT WILL BRING GREAT WEALTH, PLENTY, PEACE AND QUALITY TO THE REGION. There will be a hitherto unseen civilization. A civilization never seen before in history. In other words, a civilization unseen in Turkish history will arise insha’Allah. It also means the economic enrichment of America, Russia and China. For instance, America is in economic difficulties at the moment. China is on a knife edge; if China loses its American, Turkish and global market, it will collapse in a terrible way. The same applies to America, which can hardly hold itself up right now. Russia is in any case a poor country, but WHEN THE TURKISH-ISLAMIC UNION IS ESTABLISHED, AN INTENSIVE PLENTY AND ABUNDANCE WILL COME TO THEM ALL, PEACE WILL COME TO THEM. BUT IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SUPPORT THIS FROM THE GROUND. I mean, my Azeri brothers must apply all the pressure they can to that end and we will do the same here; let us unite our two lovely countries and come together as two states, one nation. For example, we must be able to jump into our cars, drive all the way to Azerbaijan and have dinner together in a restaurant there.

The Conference of Turkic Speaking Countries’ Parliamentary Speakers held in Istanbul in recent weeks is one of the important steps taken for the formation of the Turkish-Islamic Union. The fact the conference was held in Istanbul is also highly significant. This is one of the signs that the Turkic states regard Turkey as their leader, that they love and respect it, and that they will immediately follow along if Turkey acts to unite the Turkic world. In his speech at the conference, Turkish President Abdullah Gül said:
"Although they are separated by distance, within this process WE ARE TAKING A MAJOR STEP IN ORDER TO BRING OUR BROTHER PEOPLES, WHICH SHARE DEEP LINKS AND A COMMON LINEAGE, LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND HISTORY, CLOSER TOGETHER... AND OUR PEOPLES SUPPORT THIS COMMON WILL. OUR BROTHERHOOD IS AIMED AGAINST NOBODY. ON THE CONTRARY, IT REPRESENTS AN EMOTIONAL AND INTELLECTUAL BOND THAT WISHES PEACE, STABILITY AND WELL-BEING FOR ALL REGIONS.”
